Awakening Toastmasters

Awakening Toastmasters is a community club. We are a diverse group of people consisting of Professionals: Doctors, Lawyers, IT Specialists, Artists and Entrepreneurs who share the common goal of development in communication and leadership skills resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. The birth of Awakening Toastmasters was the result of a few friends getting together during the weekends and making a relentless pursuit to improve their leadership and communication skills.  However, in the absence of a formal structure and non-availability of a proper mechanism to get feedback on their performance, the group decided to form a Toastmasters club. Awakening Toastmasters held its’ Charter Installation Ceremony on the 18th of November 2013, and was led by the Youngest Charter President in the world, Muhammed Sheikh Ahmed, DTM. Today Awakeners have come a long way with the club being ranked as the #1 in the District for 2 consecutive years. We take great pride in being a professional support system, as each one of us contributes to the club in an effort to help our fellow club members in achieving the goal of being a great public speaker and leader.
