A mighty river starts from a tiny fountain with tributaries adding to the journey, falls bringing beauty and rapids adding to the excitement. Similarly, an Awakening journey commenced a decade ago with plenty of promise and potential but little to show in terms of experience and accomplishments. But after travelling many a mile, this Awakening fountain has given and added many a milestone, to become a mighty river that has benefited everyone who has come across it.

What is Toastmasters?
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person. In a supportive community or corporate environment, members prepare and deliver speeches, respond to impromptu questions, and give and receive constructive feedback. It is through this regular practice that members are empowered to meet personal and professional communication goals. Founded in 1924, the organization is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado

The Club was recognized for being one of the first few clubs to have all members enrolled in the Pathways program.

2019/20 | Division Leadership
The Division-C Director was appointed from Awakening Toastmasters for the year 2019/20. The club also produced the 2nd DTM.
2018/19
2018/19 | The Best Club for Second Consecutive Year
The Club was crowned as No. 1 Club in the District for the second consecutive year.
2017/18
2017/18 | The Best Club of the District
Awakening Toastmasters reached the pinnacle and was crowned #1, the Platinum Club of District 82.
2016/17
2016/17 | Bronze Club of the District
The year was made the most significant with the club being ranked as the Bronze Club of the District.
2015/16
2015/16 | Awakening Gears Up
With the core team of leaders setting new standards and new blood coming in, Awakening won its first President’s Distinguished Club status.

2014/15 | The Learning Expands
14 Awakeners participated in the Toastmasters International Convention held in Kuala Lumpur.
