It is just a simple thought, but is a catalyst for the phenomenal advancement of the future.
Well, for some it would not even sound possible, but this is the truth. The step that is pursued immediately after an idea occurs is what makes it possible. The “Planning” that individuals execute afterwards to be precise is what translates what was once a thought into reality. A proper plan is consequential to make it a great success. Every success of any organization is based on how effective and accurate your planning is and here is a simple method on How to execute a successful planning process.
1- Create the objectives that is best for YOU.
Once you are in the process of developing an idea that you perceived and making it a fulfillment in life, you need to know the objectives behind and how to achieve them; objectives that you can envisage as attainable. Therefore list down the resources you need to be possessing and the course of action you need to be doing in order to acquire the final outcome of your whole idea. It is always easier to remind yourself the final outcome and continue improving the objectives and carrying out any necessary amendments to fine tune them, as one idea can lead you to many branches of innovative concepts.
2- Establishing a team.
As it has been oft-told, there is no success without teamwork. Indeed trusted manpower is vital according to the scale of the objectives that you plan. However, an effective team who believes in the same values and standards you establish will ensure extraordinary success. Some people are very detail-oriented and are able to closely follow an intricate plan, while some others would not fathom such complications. However, it is you as the master of the objectives that need to adapt yourself in ensuring they comprehend it. Provide detailed and precise tasks for each member of the team to accomplish them competently.
3- Spend time to save time.
As a general rule it is true to say that higher up the hierarchy of an organization you go, larger the portion of time that is spent thinking, planning and making decisions; this will inadvertently reduce the time wasted on inefficiencies in production and performance. Some may consider spending considerable time on planning as a waste that will forsake the time allotted for production or broaden the overall period of time spent for the project. Well, it is not true, even if you spend a time slot equal to the time period of the production time just on planning, a proper plan will always result in reducing the production time tremendously by removing inefficiencies. Moreover it will ensure the quality as Stephen Keague aptly said: “Proper planning and preparations prevents poor performance”. It is not all about how much time you spend, but about how effectively you spend time to save time later on. In every objective you dedicate, have a timeframe as to when it requires to be fulfilled.
Once the objectives are set, a trusted team assigned and an effective time frame created, it is your task as the owner of the original idea to reflect back on the progress and ensuring the objectives are met. Progress can be made easier by checking on your current practices, setting clear objectives and beginning to work with a more tangible plan while recognizing how cumulative the process is.
